Early Career Webinar Series

Melbourne Girls Grammar is proud to deliver a range of new initiatives to keep our community connected. With a focus on virtual engagement, last year we launched the first webinar in our exciting Career Series designed specifically for early career alumnae. Titled Combat the Career Curveball, the session focused on the importance of being adaptable in the early career phase, managing expectations and finding your Plan B in a changing job market. Presented by guest speakers Anita Ziemer (past Chair of Council, past MGGS parent and Managing Director of Slade Group) and Sarah Udovenya (past student and marketing professional at Mecca Brands), the webinar combined industry knowledge with first-hand experiences.

After the interest received for Combat the Career Curveball, we are pleased to continue with the Series in 2021 and deliver webinars on a range of diverse topics presented by enthusiastic speakers from within our own MGGS community. Whether you’re studying at Uni, on a GAP year, have had your career impacted by the pandemic, or are looking for your next career move, these sessions aim to provide guidance on how to get you from where you are today, to where you want to be tomorrow. Join us on Monday 24 February and connect with others across our vibrant MGGS network.
