Parents Association
At Melbourne Girls Grammar we are privileged to have a vibrant and engaged parent community.
Our Parents Association dates back to 1928 and in conjunction with the School, has played a vital role in building a thriving community with our students at the core of all activities.
We believe that parent participation in the School community is an integral part of your daughters’ educational experience.
Opportunities to volunteer are as diverse as our community itself. Ways to be involved include:
- As a class rep
- As a participant in one of the following auxiliaries: Sport, Arts, Snowsports, Rowing, Boarders’ Parents, Stem and Old Grammarians
- As a swap shop volunteer
- Navy Blue committee
- Or in a variety of one-off experiences throughout the school year
Please get in touch with our Parents Association via the Community Office at community@mggs.vic.edu.au to register your interest, or watch your inbox for upcoming opportunities.
Welcome from the President
The MGGS Parents Association (PA) welcomes all parents and guardians as automatic members who are warmly invited to engage and contribute to meetings, activities and events.
The PA exists to support you in any way we can. Our goal is to create a positive and inclusive community that fosters engagement, learning, and support for both parents and students.
We are looking forward to another exciting year filled with new opportunities and achievements. Throughout the year, the PA organises a variety of events and activities that provide opportunities for parents to get involved in the school community, meet other parents and support their children’s education.
Your participation and input are valuable and essential in helping us to create a strong and supportive community for our children. You can engage via your child’s year level, through auxiliaries, and via committees.
If you would like more information please explore the eVI Parents Association page, or contact the MGGS PA President or via Community Office (community@mggs.vic.edu).
