Annual Giving 2023
As the School is in its 130th Anniversary year, we reflect and give thanks to our community of parents, alumnae, students and staff for helping us to be at the forefront of academic excellence and reaching this wonderful historical milestone.
Our community have helped us to nurture and inspire our Grammarians by encouraging independence, thought and culture, and diversity of opinion enabling them to truly flourish. One way your support has helped them is through giving to our Scholarship Program. This year, we would like to continue to create more opportunities for talented young women and continue to provide an education that will prepare them to embark on their future.
Some of the scholarships you can support are:
- Principal’s Scholarship
Designed to recognise the talents, interests and commitment individual girls have made through their academic studies and in their service to the community, sports, and arts.
-
Music Scholarship
Developing and nurturing talented young women in their chosen instrument including strings, brass, woodwind and piano. - Indigenous Scholarship
Creating opportunities to support our First Nations People and encouraging diversity and culture within the MGGS Community.
- Refugee Scholarship
To support people from a refugee background to achieve independence and to minimise financial barriers.
- Boarding Scholarship
Developing independence, joining a community of diverse students from Australia and abroad, and building lifelong friendships whilst gaining an education.
-
Sporting Excellence
Empowering and celebrating women in sport.
No matter the size of the gift you make, it can have a tremendous impact on the future of a current or potential student. All donations raised will be put towards the Scholarship Fund of your choice with the aim of supporting our future Grammarians.
Gifts over $2 or more will be issued a tax-deductible receipt upon your payment (Scholarship Fund & Building Fund only).
