Compulsory Uniform Items:
A blue sash with ‘Compulsory’ designates uniform items which are compulsory.
For some programs you have a choice between one or more items, this is indicated in the product description for the applicable items.
For example, the sports uniform has been designed to give students choice as to what garments they feel most comfortable in and that they prefer. All students are required to have a pair of shorts, but they can choose from compression, bike or 2-in-1 shorts. We have marked these items in the Online Shop as ‘Compulsory Options’.
When Summer and Winter uniform is worn:
Students wear the summer uniform in Terms 1 & 4 and winter during Terms 2 & 3. Students will be allowed 2 weeks, at the beginning of the term, to transition to next season’s uniform.
MGGS uniforms are to be worn according to the season – Summer (Term 1 & 4) Winter (Term 2 & 3).
No mixing and matching is allowed across the seasons. This also applies to full and sports uniform, there is no mixing and matching of full uniform with the sports uniform.
The best time to purchase uniforms is usually before the school year starts in January, as our uniform shop has extended hours and is open every weekday until school begins.
The online uniform shop is closed over the term and Christmas breaks.
