Getting Here
Getting to MGGS
Melbourne Girls Grammar is located in South Yarra and is easily accessible by public transport. To plan your journey via public transport, visit https://www.ptv.vic.gov.au/journey
METRO TUNNEL NOW OPEN
The Metro Tunnel is now fully operational as of 1 February 2026. This means our Grammarians can now use Anzac Station when travelling to MGGS. Anzac Station connects the Cranbourne and Pakenham lines in the east with the Sunbury line in the west. Directly above the station is a tram interchange, connecting routes 3, 5, 6, 16, 58, 64, 67, and 72.
At this stage, the tram on Domain Road has not returned so students and staff disembarking at Anzac Station can walk along the Tan to reach Merton Hall.
PRIVATE Bus SERVICES TO MGGS
MGGS offers bus services, which can bring your daughter to and from school. Here are the routes we offer, see the map below:
- Bayside Bus Service
- Glen Eira Bus Service
- Williamstown Bus Service
Bus services are available for Morris Hall students and Merton Hall students.
Your daughter can board and disembark the bus at one of the many bus stops along the way. You can either opt to book regular trips or she can use the service on a casual basis. Parents of current students can sign up online for the service, book and pay for trips and even track the bus journey live on their phone. Students need to tap their ID card on and off when using the bus.
For more information about this service for prospective families, please contact enrolments.
