Boarders are cared for by the Director of Boarding and full-time, in-residence Boarding House Supervisors who foster a culture of trust, gratitude and appreciation among the boarding community.
The staff works hard to encourage independence in all girls, as individuals and as a group as they develop. By maintaining open communication with girls and their parents, each girl’s care and wellbeing is at the core of the boarding experience.
With years of diverse experience in education and adolescent health, our residential management team is linked to teaching staff, wellbeing support, community structures and most importantly, the parent body.
Boarding House supervisors act as the liaison between all parties to ensure every girl has access to whomever they need.
Melbourne Girls Grammar wants each girl’s transition into boarding to be as smooth as possible. For further information, or to answer any questions about enrolling in boarding at our school please contact our Enrolments Office.
