Meet the Future
Sophie, a Year 9 boarder from Albury is making the most of all the opportunities available for her at Melbourne Girls Grammar. With her sights set on a career in the medical field, Sophie is exploring her passions and interests while living on site in her second home, the Boarding House.
When you ask Shyla Baravkar, a Year 3 student at Melbourne Girls Grammar, how we can help make steps to reduce climate change, she maintains that it’s all about the little things we can all do that add up to big improvements.
Julia, a Year 7 student at Melbourne Girls Grammar, has always loved to perform. From a young age, she made up skits, performed for her family and friends and was singing all day long.
Daisy is a Year 11 student and a lover of learning. She has taken a keen interest in biology and chemistry largely due to her passion for diving. She has always loved a holistic approach to her education, understanding the concept surrounding something and not just the surface level information.
At Melbourne Girls Grammar we facilitate learning based on sharing knowledge, skills and experiences that will equip our Grammarians for whatever life throws their way. We know that their future will be characterised by rapid change and their capacity to adapt will be what they need to harness every opportunity and to take the lead.
The Melbourne Girls Grammar learner is Courageous, Curious, Creative, Collaborative, and a Critical thinker. Together, they make a community of scholarly individuals able to demonstrate the agency and resilience to act boldly and ethically – they are ethical women of action.
