Values

MGGS aspires to develop ethical women of action. With an emphasis on our strong values, high expectations, creativity and academic challenge, girls will discover their passion and build their capacities for action and influence. More than ideals, our values of integrity, compassion, courage and self-discipline are the building blocks of our Grammarians’ future.

integrity

We encourage students to act with honesty, respect and accountability in all aspects of school life. Integrity means making thoughtful choices, standing up for what is right, and building relationships based on trust and respect, even when faced with challenges or peer pressure.

compassion

We foster a culture of kindness, empathy and inclusion, where students learn to care for and support those around them. Compassion means listening with  understanding, showing generosity of spirit and contributing positively to the wellbeing of the community.

courage

We support students to approach life with confidence, resilience and a willingness to grow. Courage means stepping outside of comfort zones, embracing new opportunities and responding positively to challenges while remaining true to personal values.

self-discipline

We encourage students to develop independence, responsibility and self-awareness. Self-discipline means learning to make considered decisions, manage actions and emotions thoughtfully, and develop the confidence and resilience to navigate life with purpose.
