Sarah Reid

Director at Sarah Reid and Others

Educated in Auckland, New Zealand Sarah moved to Melbourne in 2001 as a resident of Trinity College, to study Architecture at The University of Melbourne. On completing her Bachelor of Design, this led to further studies and the graduation with a Masters of Architecture in 2007.

During her years studying, Sarah worked in a student role with Allan Powell (now Powell + Glenn) and Denton Corker Marshall. On graduation, Sarah worked in a Graduate Architect role at Bates Smart. Over her time at Bates Smart, she became a Project Architect on key feasibility study projects largely centred around healthcare and public service. After some time with Bates Smart, she took a slight career move taking on the role of a Senior Designer with Hecker Guthrie. This started a keen interest in pursuing more interior design focused projects. The years working at Hecker Guthrie refined her design and project-lead skills, while providing the opportunity to work across a number of high profile residential, multi residential and commercial projects. This led into a Senior Design role with Fiona Lynch, as Fiona finessed her Melbourne studio in 2014.

After 10 years working in the industry, Sarah Reid & Others was established in 2016. In her current role as Director, Sarah works closely with Clients in Melbourne and interstate with a focus on high end residential projects.
