Future Proof: Kate Davis (1997)

Kate Davis, an Old Grammarian who graduated in 1997 thrives off the fast paced, high-pressure environments she works in daily. As the Regional Public Affairs Manager for the Department of Defence, and as a Flight Lieutenant, Public Affairs Officer in the Royal Australian Airforce, Kate has travelled all over the world on deployment to places such as Afghanistan, Iraq and Oman.

‘I never felt that I had any kind of limit as a woman’

Kate has extensive experience in stakeholder liaison, Government, Defence, crisis communications, issues management, public relations, community engagement and event management, and is well versed in juggling her career with her family life, being the mother of two boys.

Kate recalls the culture of sisterhood at Melbourne Girls Grammar, and is exceptionally proud that she attended the School, as she believes it set her up for the future.
