VCE Results – Class of 2023

Congratulations to the Class of 2023!

Our School has demonstrated 130 years of excellence in girls’ education. As a community, we are so very proud of every Grammarian for the hard work and determination they have shown throughout their VCE studies. We are pleased to present the VCE Results of our Class of 2023.

VCE Results

The admirable results we share with you today reflect the strength and depth of the Class of 2023. They are a cohort of high achievers across a number of academic disciplines, alongside their high engagement and excellence in the co-curricular opportunities offered by the School.

We celebrate the accomplishments of each student and acknowledge that success looks different to for everyone. For many of our Grammarians, their ATAR will enable them to take the next step towards their future careers and the realisation of their dreams. We are thrilled to see 37% of the cohort earning scores in the top 10% of the state, with ATARs of 90 or above. The diversity of the offerings and the strengths of our Grammarians can be seen in the study scores of over 45 or higher in 17 different areas.

The Class of 2023 has undoubtedly left big shoes to fill. They have led the School this year with energy, kindness and vivid engagement in all that they have done. They leave us with much more than their academic achievements, but a well-rounded education full of opportunities that they have grasped onto with both hands. They have been true role models for our younger Grammarians, leading from the front on the sporting field (both locally and at state and international levels), on the stage in musical and theatrical performances and House events, and in their engagement with our local community and beyond. They have pushed boundaries, chased excellence and achieved greatness together this year – as one.

Completing VCE is a big milestone for all students and with their results, the Class of 2023 has demonstrated the true benefits of a holistic MGGS education.

We congratulate these Grammarians who now embark on their next chapter with the tools and knowledge to make a difference in the lives they choose to lead.
