2017 Highlights

The 2017 school year has come and gone in a flash. From the opening of Artemis Centre to the launch of the new Senior Years program, our girls have shown great strength and fearlessness across all areas. Over the school holidays we will be highlighting exciting moments and events from throughout the year.

12/12/2017 – Early Learning Centre Mothers Day Video

Throwback to when Bey-Dance, a Beyonce inspired dance group taught our girls funky moves to the song ‘Flawless’, a song about quietening the inner critic, being fearless and supporting each other #MGGS2017Throwback

04/01/2018 – AFLW on the MCG

Throwback to when our girls ran out onto the MCG for the Herald Sun Shield earlier this year. Our girls showed courage and fearlessness amidst fierce competition #MGGS2017Throwback


08/01/2018 – Cate Kennedy’s Surprise Appiration

Inspired by Australian author Cate Kennedy, our Year 12 Literature Students wrote and published a collection of their stories called ‘Split Ends’. Cate surprised the girls with a ‘virtual visit’ at their book launch and told the girls she was “knocked out by the quality of their stories” (book emoji) #CateKennedy #MGGS2017Throwback

09/01/2018 – Snowsports

Throwback to when our #FearlessGirls competed in the 2017 Snowsports Championships. Special mention to Catherine Heyburn, who was the Victorian recipient of the APSI Interschools scholarship, and Ellie-Mae Broomhead, who was selected in the Australian Children’s Alpine Team #MGGS2017Throwback
