Motor Works Gallery’s next exhibition ‘The Drawing Dialogue’ is taking shape. Amazing drawings created by students from Melbourne Grammar and Melbourne Girls Grammar under the direction of artist-in-residence Rebecca Jones will feature! Quite a few of our Year 11 girls have been going to most of the classes each Monday afternoon for about five weeks. 

Drawing occupies a special place in artistic practice so please come join us at the opening of this exhibition Thursday 12 June from 4pm to 6pm at the Motor Works Gallery, 39-41 Arnold Street, South Yarra.

This exhibition explores drawing as a shared practice of observation and experimentation. Bringing together student work and the artist-in-residence’s ongoing investigations shaped by a lifelong engagement with drawing and study. The exhibition will be open until 27 June.
