We are delighted to bring you this year’s first issue of Information Exchange (IE), where we explore innovation at Melbourne Girls Grammar.
Since opening our doors, Melbourne Girls Grammar has been forward-thinking, open to change, and innovative in education. Throughout the School’s 130-year history, our educators have remained adaptable and enthusiastic about their teaching practices, ensuring they continue to improve and refine their classroom methods.
Just like our teachers remain emboldened when embracing change, we similarly aim to empower our Grammarians to embrace the challenges of an unknown future; this enables them to be confident drivers of change in an evolving world.
For this edition of IE, we have collected the innovative stories, initiatives and achievements of our incredible community. From our drama department’s meticulous backstage crew, the School’s progressive esports initiative, the efforts of our incomparable Old Grammarians’ association, and more, we hope you enjoy hearing from the many voices of our community, who each play a part in keeping MGGS a vibrant, thriving and progressive place of learning.
