Melbourne Girls Grammar is proud to celebrate the achievements and aspirations of the Class of 2025 as they take their next steps beyond our red brick walls and into a world of opportunity. This cohort’s outstanding VCE results – with a median ATAR of 94.3 and 63% of students achieving an ATAR above 90 – have opened doors to exceptional tertiary pathways across a rich diversity of fields. Their destinations reflect not only academic excellence but curiosity, courage and the desire to contribute meaningfully to the world.
Strong Interest Across Diverse Fields
We are proud to announce that 100% of the Class of 2025 graduates who applied through VTAC have received an offer. The offers received span a wide range of study areas, showcasing the Class of 2025’s passion for both traditional and emerging disciplines.
Society and Culture (37%) remains the most popular field, with many Grammarians pursuing studies in humanities, psychology, international relations, law, media and social sciences – fields that shape conversations and communities.
Management and Commerce (17%) continues to attract students interested in leadership, entrepreneurship and the evolving global economy.
Natural and Physical Sciences (13%) and Health (14%) together highlight the cohort’s ongoing commitment to scientific discovery, medical research and wellbeing.
Engineering (6%), Creative Arts (3%), Architecture & Building (1.5%), IT (1%), and Education (1%) demonstrate the wide-ranging nature of Grammarians’ interests, including emerging STEM futures and creative innovation.
This distribution reflects the holistic nature of an MGGS education – one that empowers students to pursue excellence while embracing individuality.
Universities of Choice
Our students received offers from a broad group of Australian tertiary institutions, with a strong concentration of destinations at Victoria’s most prestigious universities.
The University of Melbourne (40.5%) remains the leading choice, reflecting student interest in its breadth of programs and high academic reputation.
Monash University (40%) closely follows, particularly for health sciences, business and STEM pathways.
This year’s distribution highlights strong alignment between our students’ strengths and the state’s top-ranking institutions.
