webinar and live q&a
Early Learning Centre (3 Year Old – 4 Year Old)
9.30am wednesday 8 September 2021
Join us online for a morning of joy and wonder at our Early Learning Centre. Our Clowes Street ELC home is a delightful, inviting environment with many spaces and places to play, explore and learn.
You will be guided through a virtual experience that highlights our learning studios, outdoor spaces and kitchen garden and have the opportunity to imagine your daughter playing in our beautiful gardens, cubby and sandpit.
On a physical tour of each of the learning spaces, we would usually take you across the Merton Hall campus to the Artemis Centre where our ELC movement and Jumpstart programs take place. While this is not possible, we will be encouraging you to come back when schools are able to reopen to visitors to see the wonderous facilities on the School campus that is accessed by our ELC girls. Our unique Jumpstart program is led by our highly trained gymnastics team. It has been designed specifically for young bodies and assists in building strong upper and core body control. Trampolines, ropes, and other gymnastic equipment make this a fun filled and adventure driven space.
After you’ve virtually explored some of our learning environments, you’ll join a Live Q&A Session with Sarah Gill, Executive Director, Early Learning and Junior Years, Margaret Sellar, Head of Early Learning and Kylie McBride, Enrolments Manager, who will answer all of your questions and provide insights into how Melbourne Girls Grammar can support the learning and development of your daughter.
One of the major benefits of a school based ELC program is that it enables our Grammarians to transition seamlessly and confidently into Prep at Morris Hall, our Junior Years program. If you have not visited this part of the School, we would be delighted to show you around our Morris Hall campus through a private tour. Both opportunities can be booked via the form below.
Junior School at Morris Hall (Prep – Year 4)
Nestled in the tree lined streets of South Yarra, our Morris Hall campus is a learning oasis complete with light filled learning studios and abundant outdoor spaces that stimulate imaginations, foster curiosity, and create the perfect place to forge lifelong friendships.
We would be delighted to show you and your family around our campus for a private tour. You’ll experience learning in action as girls confidently navigate programs in literacy, numeracy, STEM, and the arts with confidence. Observe our teaching staff in year level studios as they encourage inquiry-based learning and engage these young active minds in problem-solving and collaborative projects.
You’ll have the opportunity to experience our Morris Hall environments and our staff will be able to answer any questions specifically related to your daughter. Many of our Morris Hall families commence with us at ELC. If you haven’t visited our dedicated 3 and 4 year old spaces, we would be delighted for you to join our Virtual Tour and Live Q&A Session on Wednesday 8 September 2021 at 9.30am. Both opportunities can be booked via the form below.
