Godolphin Exchange Program Enters 16th Year

Each year at Melbourne Girls Grammar we welcome 2 – 5 visitors from The Godolphin School in Salisbury, United Kingdom as a part of a reciprocal exchange program.

2019 is the 16th consecutive year we have offered this program which provides Year 9 students with the opportunity to experience life and education in a different country. Through living with a host family or in a boarding house, girls are fortunate to have the opportunity to make new lasting friendships with their peers on the other side of the world.

The Godolphin School in the United Kingdom has very similar ethos and values to ours at Melbourne Girls Grammar. Our shared vision of providing opportunities for girls to extend their travel experience and develop independence has shone through as a result of this program.

Significantly, over the 16 years the program has been offered, many students have made return visits and friends of exchange students have continued to re-establish connections.

We farewelled our four 2019 Godolphin girls this week, and our girls will be joining them in the United Kingdom in June 2019.
