Annual Giving 2019
Your gift to this year’s Annual Giving campaign will help to support our School and the educational experience of both current and future students of Melbourne Girls Grammar.
We are aspiring to raise $200,000 through our Annual Giving Campaign in 2019.
You can help us achieve this goal by donating to one of the following funds.
Melbourne Girls Grammar needs to ensure its built environment continues to provide the best possible facilities for our students and supports our innovative educational programs. A donation to the Building Fund contributes to important capital works and infrastructure to offer a modern and purpose-built learning environment.
125th Anniversary Scholarship FUnd
The 125th Anniversary Scholarship was established in 2018 to commemorate 125 years of girls’ education at Melbourne Girls Grammar. The generosity of our School community enabled 3 students to be awarded equity scholarships in 2020. With your support, we aim to grow a sustainable endowment to ensure these opportunities continue to exist for future students.
Ella Murray (2018) was a recipient of the Phyllis Connor Memorial Scholarship, established in memory of Old Grammarian and philanthropist, Cecile Phyllis Connor (1927).
The diversity of our school community is enriched through the Melbourne Girls Grammar Indigenous Scholarship Program. This Program provides opportunities and support for indigenous students to experience the learning environment at Melbourne Girls Grammar. The Scholarship covers tuition and boarding costs, as well as financial assistance for extra-curricular activities.
Old Grammarians Scholarships
The Old Grammarians Scholarship, the Gilman Jones Scholarship and the DJ Ross Memorial Fund* build on the generosity of our Old Grammarian community. This vital support helps to provide financial assistance to current and new students to the School, as well as acknowledging, through the provision of tertiary scholarships, high achieving students who graduate from Melbourne Girls Grammar each year.
*Please note donations to the Old Grammarians Scholarship Funds are not tax deductible.
