Annual Giving 2017

Your gift to this year’s Annual Giving campaign will help to support our School and the educational experience of both current and future students of Melbourne Girls Grammar.

The Artemis Centre

The epicentre of Melbourne Girls Grammar’s wellbeing program, this world-class facility will provide the environment for a contemporary and customised education program for MGGS students. The Artemis Centre features a 25 metre multi-purpose swimming pool, an olympic-sized basketball/netball court with accompanying stadium, an outdoor seated amphitheatre, a café with indoor and outdoor meeting spaces, fitness studios, personalised ‘me zones’ and a learning commons.

General Scholarships

Academic, Music and Boarding scholarships are offered each year at various levels of entry to MGGS. These scholarships identify and acknowledge academic strength and talent from an early age. Students who receive scholarships to MGGS excel academically and musically and are challenged by the academic rigour and extensive music program offered by the School. The MGGS General Scholarship program exemplifies the School’s commitment to academic excellence and diversity.

Indigenous Scholarships

Tuition, boarding and extra-curricular activities are available to indigenous students through the MGGS Indigenous Scholarship program. We believe this not only provides an opportunity for indigenous students from regional communities to experience the learning environment at MGGS, it also enriches the diversity of the School community.

Old Grammarians Scholarships

The Old Grammarians Scholarship, the Gilman Jones Scholarship and the DJ Ross Memorial Fund build on the generosity of past Old Grammarians. The support of our community of past students helps provide financial assistance to current and new students to the School, as well as acknowledging and rewarding the very brightest and talented students who graduate from MGGS each year through the provision of scholarships to assist with tertiary study and related living expenses.
