Imagine open, collaborative spaces, where primary school girls in Prep and Years 1 – 4 can work together, fostering a sense of community and belonging to their work, each other and their school.

OUR PRIMARY SCHOOL learning environments

MORRIS HALL

Within the leafy surrounds of South Yarra, our beautiful Morris Hall campus is home for our Prep – Year 4 girls.

Extending the immediate experience at Morris Hall is the outstanding landscape of the city of Melbourne. Museums, galleries, parks and theatres are within walking distance or a short tram ride.

We believe that an education for life takes our girls exploring well beyond their classroom environment.

LOCATION

Melbourne Girls Grammar Junior Years
100 Caroline Street, South Yarra

Our Prep – Year 4 primary school campus in South Yarra is conveniently located for families within the Toorak, Prahran, Richmond, Southbank, South Melbourne, Port Melbourne and Docklands areas.

It is easily accessible via Citylink and public transport, with plenty of parking available.

LEARNING STUDIOS

The junior primary school learning studios have been architecturally designed to take advantage of natural light and to provide comfortable gathering spaces where girls can collaborate and create.

The flexible spaces also support personalised study, integrating a range of learning technologies for girls to explore their passions and pursue these interests within a secure, positive environment.

The setting at Morris Hall supports and promotes a deep respect for each other and for our environment.

CENTRE FOR INNOVATION AND CREATIVITY

With a focus on the future, we established a Centre for Innovation and Creativity within our Junior Years campus.

Within the Centre, girls are offered practical, hands-on experiences to provoke critical thinking and extend their investigation of the world they live and learn in.

OUTDOOR ZONED LEARNING

Our girls may choose to learn and play in the Kitchen Garden, climb and swing on the Adventure Playground, play soccer on the oval, relax on the Peaceful Patio or immerse themselves in dramatic play in our Imagination Zone.

During these times, the girls are supervised by a consistent team of educators who are outside with them every day, guiding and nurturing their development as they learn and play together.
