Melbourne Girls Grammar offers Scholarships at the Year 5, Year 7 and Year 9 level to Australian citizens and are awarded on the basis of the ACER Academic Examination, audition (music only) and interview with the Principal.

In all instances, candidates must sit the appropriate Year Level Examination and should register online.

Candidates who are shortlisted for an audition or interview will be contacted by telephone.

The Principal is the only person who can award a scholarship.

Scholarships are awarded for the period outlined (see Types of Scholarships) providing that the holder continues to satisfy the Principal in all points of conduct and work.

Scholarships cover academic tuition fees only. Normal enrolment fees apply. Scholarships do not cover additional costs such as uniforms, text books and equipment, camps and excursions or any other extra curricula activities such as music and sporting lessons.
