Parent Auxiliaries

The Arts Auxiliary consists of parents who have a daughter interested in art, drama and music activities at the School. The Auxiliary assists at concerts, plays and exhibitions, and organises fundraising events to buy equipment or to provide funds to support the Artist-in-Residence program.

The Boarders’ Auxiliary supports parents of boarders and organises social and fundraising activities in the Boarding Houses.

The Merton Hall Rowing Club is the parent body that supports the School’s rowing program by organising support for the running of School rowing camps, regattas and other fundraising and social events. The School’s rowing program is conducted as an extra subject and centres on the annual Head of the Schoolgirls Regatta held in March each year. Rowing is open to girls in Years 9 - 12. Girls in Year 9 will have commenced rowing in Term 3 of their Year 8.

The Snowsports Committee provides technical advice to the School, raises funds for the purchase of new equipment, supports School snowsport programs and provides team managers and officials for interschool competitions.

The Social Events Committee co-ordinates the range of fundraising and friend-raising within the School Community.

The Sports Auxiliary supports the Sports Department and its programs during the year by helping at events and offering monetary support. The range of sporting activities within the School includes the Girls Sport Victoria program, rowing, snowsports, netball and equestrian events.

The Uniform Shop is located on the Merton Hall Campus in Walsh Street, South Yarra. While providing an excellent service for school families, profits from the Uniform Shop support many of the activities in the School.
