The
Nina Crone Library was fully refurbished in 2006. It now provides a warm and
welcoming environment
with 21st century technology in a beautiful setting. The library provides access to an
extensive range of information resources, both print and online, which meet
the curriculum and recreational reading needs of the school community.
Library staff are committed to nurturing enquiring minds and lifelong
learning skills as well as a love of literature.
On-line
resources can also be accessed through the Library Home Page anywhere on
the school network. It contains the catalogue (including integrated
websites), encyclopedias and a range of reference sources and on-line full
text databases of newspapers and magazine. Library staff are continually
updating research and subject guides, teacher links and a reading section
to promote reading for pleasure.

The
library spaces include the ever popular Drum for reading in a relaxed
environment, teaching and research areas, a conference room and a silent
study room for senior students. The Audiovisual Services area provides
excellent audiovisual resources across a range of formats such as ClickView
which provides digital video over the school intranet. Audiovisual
equipment such as digital still and video cameras are in increasingly high
demand as students present more of their work electronically.
