The recently refurbished and extended Early Learning Centre (in the Barbara Tolson Centre) is situated adjacent to the Senior School campus and is home to our three and four-year-old girls.

The Centre consists of five flexible learning spaces or classrooms. The number of children in each room is limited to eighteen.

Each room incorporates a studio space and has an adjoining outdoor area allowing teachers to implement an indoor and outdoor learning program.

The children use the resources of the wider Melbourne Girls Grammar environment as well. They visit the gymnasium, the library, the science laboratories, the Chapel and the playing fields. The school’s proximity to the Botanical Gardens allows the children to explore this amazing natural resource and discover a whole new world.
