Step 1
The
first step to enrolling at Melbourne Girls Grammar is to complete the
School’s Application for Admission form. This form can be downloaded as a
hardcopy or completed online.
The
Application must be accompanied by an $80.00 application fee. The
application fee is non-refundable.
Submitting
the Application form will place you on the enrolment list for the chosen
year of entry. It does not guarantee your daughter a place at Melbourne
Girls Grammar. Places are offered to students after completing the
following steps and are dependent on the number of places available in each
year level.
Step 2
Approximately
18 months to 2 years before the required year of entry parents will be
contacted by our Admissions Department. If parents wish to continue the
enrolment process they will be asked to complete a Learning Profile of
their daughter and attend an enrolment interview with the Principal or
the Director of Students. If possible, both parents should attend but
at least one parent and the student need to be present for the interview.
Interviews can be conducted by telephone for interstate and overseas
applicants.
After the
interview your daughter may be offered a place at Melbourne Girls Grammar
and you will be given a time period in which to consider the offer.
Step 3
To
accept the offer you will need to return the Acceptance of Offer
form and pay the required enrolment fee. The enrolment fee for
three-year-old ELC to Year 12 is $1000 ($1250 for Boarding Students). This
is a non-refundable fee, payable by the date nominated in the formal letter
of offer. If the fee is not received by the due date, the enrolment may be
cancelled.
