Our Early Learning Centre is a learning community which is not constrained by time and where a genuine partnership between parents, children and teachers is fostered.  We believe that involving parents in shared experiences with their children at school yields great rewards for both children and adults.

Parents are always welcomed into the classroom, perhaps to join in the morning meeting or to become involved with the children’s project work. In Term 2, grandparents and special friends are invited to visit the ELC to spend a morning with the children.

Formal parent teacher interviews are held three times a year, however classroom teachers are available to meet with parents at any time.  Parent information evenings are held each term and class newsletters are sent home regularly during the school term.

At the end of each year, the children are presented with an individual folio celebrating the everyday and the extraordinary moments that have constituted their year at the ELC.
